Potato Attack Team

In the galaxy far far away, there is a planet called Potato. There are aliens that have a potato head. They have a pan hat, and short arms and legs and they have a black mantles. The Potato planet have monsters too! There are two-head monster, long body monster… There are Potato hero attack team, the leader is called Potato Man. They use sword to battle.

Attack the Monster

Potato Man led the Potato Attack Team to a city called Potato Land to fight with no-tail monsters. The no-tail monsters were very special because they had no tail and the won't fall. But if you cut a regular monster's tail, it would fall. When they got to the Potato Land, a no-tail monster ate Potato Man. "Oh! No!"Eating Potato yelled. "What did it do?" asked Super Potato,"It has eaten our leader!" yelled Eating Potato,"We must kill him!" Eating Potato drew out his sword and killed the monster.

Eating Potato asked," Who is our new leader?" "Me!" yelled Super Potato. "No fair!" yelled Mr. Potato, everyone knows that Mr. Potato was good at sword battle and he was very strong. Hero Potato wants to be the leader too. Eating Potato yelled," Hero Potato was not even stonger than me!" Eating Potato. "I'm stronger than you!" shouted Super Potato. "I'm stronger than every of you." said Mr. Potato in a deep voice, and he began to draw his sword, then he said," I gonna kill you." Then every Potato thought that the strongest could be the leader. Then the Potatoes let Mr. Potato be the new leader.

There are humans on Earth which the Potatoes know, then there's a human came to Potato. When he got on the Potato planet, his head turned to a potato head. "Oh! No!" he yelled. When he got his spaceship ready to go, his arms and legs turned shorter. "Oh! No!" he yelled again. When he pressed the button to go, he got a black mantle. When he yelled," Oh! No!", he got a pan hat. Then he was a Potato Hero. Mr. Potato gave the new potato a name "Human Potato". He likes his name. Then Mr. Potato gave him Potato man's sword so he is the new potato.

Two-head Monster

About two weeks Human Potato was stronger than Hero Potato. One day they are battling robot monsters to practise being strong. There is a whole group of two-head monsters came. 50 monsters jumped up in the sky and landed beside the Potato Heroes. The Potatoes turned around and started the battle. Mr. Potato helped the Potatoes to battle with the monsters, he killed all of them. Then 90 monsters jumped up, Mr. Potato killed them all. At last, there were two monsters left. One jumped up and ate Hero Potato. "Oh! No!" yelled Eating Potato, he drew out his sword and killed the monster. There was only one left, Super Potato killed it.

贪心的妈妈

昨天在QQ群里被石头妈为首的一群“红眼妈妈”痛打，在彤彤妈的火力掩护下狼狈逃窜，今天，到这里来晒，没人再打得着我了吧？！:D

一直以来，非常喜欢的一个场景就是：放学的铃声一响，背着大书包的刘小嘉从门内窜出来，连话都顾不上跟我说一句完整的，就冲向学校的某一处playground.那份把握分秒赶着去玩儿的劲头，总让我满心欢喜。——多么正常、健康的孩子啊。

这学期，小家伙多少有了些变化。放了学，还是背着大书包往外冲、还是没句完整的话、还是一有机会就跑得头上亮晶晶地冒着汗。可是，有时，玩上半个小时，就会跑过来，说，妈妈，我们回家吧。——为什么啊？天气这么好，不想玩了吗？——不想玩了，想回家了，有点累啦。

我知道一回到家的刘小嘉会忙着写他的作业，就享受不到室外灿烂的阳光以及蓝天白云绿树了，真希望他能在外面再多玩一会儿。

我是多么贪心啊，既然希望他有学习的能力，又希望他有运动的能力。如果他成天价儿地在外面玩，我会叨叨学习；如果他在大好天气下闷在屋里写作业，我又会觉得不甘心。做家长的，怎么这么烦人啊？！——尽管一直提醒自己不要唠叨，看来话还是多了点儿。:shutup:

于是，以实际行动来陪儿子多玩玩。最近，他爱打羽毛球，我就天天盯着外面的树叶看有风没风；爸爸一下班，赶紧催着他们去游泳；趁他现在刚开始学滑冰，劲头儿正大，尽量多带他去滑冰。

难怪总是感叹时间不够用，原来是因为我太贪心。

今天在阿猪家里抄了小雨点的诗《被遗忘的蝴蝶》，准备给放学回来的小嘉看一看，很想问问他，看了之后有什么感觉。

真实的质朴的天然的想法就是美的，就象兰海说，认真的状态最美。

真喜欢孩子们自由写作的东西，没有过多的技巧、修饰和深长的意味，只要有个认真的态度，写出来的东西一定很可爱很美好。

小嘉的英文作文总是关于外星人、机器人打仗的事儿，打来打去、打来打去，词汇量也有限，时态也会错，可是那有什么关系呢？——他爱写呀，看到小小的他趴在那儿，认真地写啊写啊，一样让人感动。

爱上折纸

离开南京的时候，小嘉幼儿园时的好朋友贝贝的妈妈送了我们好些书，其中有一本是英国人瑞克·比奇写的《折纸大全》。

小的时候，我们也给他买过一些幼儿折纸书，记得上幼儿园时他也按照那些书折过海星、青蛙什么的。可是，与这本《折纸大全》，那些书就太小儿科了。这本书是大开页的，装帧精美，内容也丰富得多。

小嘉一有空，就喜欢照着这本书玩折纸。回来之后，折过一只大大的会动的蜥蜴（挂在他小床的床头），折了一瓶五颜六色的钮扣花儿，折了会变的魔法星，折了郁金香、百合……

这些可爱的折纸被装点在我们小小的家的各个角落。

小嘉玩折纸，还特别喜欢问我，妈妈，你现在有空吗？能和我一起折吗？我知道，“精心时刻”来临了。只要有可能，我就陪他一起折，看不懂的地方互相探讨，遇上他会而我不会的基本型虚心请教，小同学一本正经地教我折法时的表情可好玩啦。

这样温馨的时刻一生中能有多少？还会持续多久？会不会不经意间，他就突然长成了大男孩？

今天，等他放了学，我要主动邀请他，嗨，想不想折纸？我们一起来玩折纸吧！

读诗后的反应

拿出抄下的小雨点的诗，给小嘉读。本意是让小嘉领略中文字句间的美和韵味以及专属于儿童诗的纯真。没想到啊没想啊，竟然结果是这样的……

“这是一位11岁的小姐姐写的诗，你读读看，读完了，告诉妈妈有什么感想。”

小嘉一边吃零食一边以他一贯的“抑扬顿挫”的音调读了起来，并且在“记忆”、“斑斓”、“美好”等词汇上加重的语气，拖得长长地，让我感觉他还挺享受的。

可是，听着听着，声调不对劲了，读了2遍后，零食也不吃了，撇撇嘴，眼圈红起来，接着，眼泪就“叭哒叭哒”地往下掉。

“什么情况啊？”

“555555，没有了，555555……”（这孩子从小讲话就这么没头没脑）

“什么没有了？”我真是一头雾水。

“蝴蝶没有了。”

“蝴蝶没有了，为什么要哭啊？”

“童年没有了，蝴蝶代表着童年。童年没有啊，怎么办啊？”

无语啊……

人家的孩子都盼着长大，怎么就我家这个这么喜欢做小baby呢？

“妈妈，我的童年已经过去了吧？”

“没有啊，你才8岁，正是童年啊。”

“5、6岁才算童年吧？”

“5、6岁也是，8岁也是。”

“那童年到什么时候结束？”

我想得尽量说得长点儿，免得他担心，“14岁吧，以前妈妈在单位的时候，凡是孩子在14周岁以下的同事，都可以在‘六一’儿童节的时候领独生子女费和节日玩具费。”

“哦。”眼泪终于不掉了。

“你算算还有几年？”

“6年，6年也不长啊……”

当妈的进一步开导，“你现在意识到童年短暂，其实是件好事。因为意识到短了，你就会珍惜，会特别喜欢你现在的日子。其实，每个年龄段都有每个年龄段的美好，童年当然美好，青年时期也很美好，中年、老年也有各自的美好。比如说，爸爸妈妈现在算中年人了，就充分享受到了有孩子的乐趣，有了你，我们多快乐呀。这在我们的童年时期可是绝对享受不到的。知道它们都美好，懂得珍惜，那每个阶段都会过得快乐。”

我的话可真多啊:shutup: 。就差再往下侃如何“活在当下”了。

小同学“嗯嗯”地听着，摊开英语本，开始写他的Potato的战斗故事了。

Huge Sea Turtle

"How can we drink water?" asked Eating Potato,"I have a plan. First we wait until the water moves very fast, then I will draw my sword and throw it in the water." The water moved fast, Human Potato drew his sword and threw it in the water. The water stopped moving, then a huge sea turtle jumped out. Eating Potato drew his sword and cut down the sea turtle's head. It grew another head and opened its mouth wide. Human Potato threw a rock into its mouth. "It ate the rock." yelled Super Potato, then the sea turtle died. "It's all safe." said Mr. Potato.

The New Weapon

The Potatoes came to Yes Potato Land. Then they found a lot of swords were broken. "We must invent some new weapons." said Super Potato. "Good idea." said Mr. Potato. "I have made guns on Earth, I know how to make guns!" Every Potato likes the gun that human made, except for Mr. Potato. He thought,"Guns can shot and won't break easily. That's good, but swords could hit away gun's bullets. Guns could not destroy swords; however, swords will cut guns into two pieces." He still likes swords.

Monster's Guns

"I hear someone say the Potatoes have guns. But one has a sword." said Long-body Monster. "We need it, too!" said Two-head Monster. "I know how to make it." said the sea turtle. Every monster has a gun, too. Then a huge noice came from north. Then the noice became louder and louder. "The Potato soldiers are coming!" yelled Eating Potato. The was began harder and harder. Potato Team lost the battle. Eating Potato got eaten, Super Potato got shot, Mr. Potato was all right. Swords are better than guns.

度假两日

10月3日和4日，虽然远在温哥华，我们也以自己的方式庆祝了中国的国庆节，我们与眯眯逗一家四口外出度假了。嘻嘻！其实，是因为眯眯逗爸爸来探亲，眯眯逗妈妈早就想好了，要去哪里玩，约上了我们同行。

我们去了冬奥会的主要赛场之一所在的Whistler。冬奥会那会儿来的时候，雪山上雪线很低，孩子们可以在雪坡上打滚。这会儿，还没下什么象样的雪，于是，我们选择只是住在山脚下的Whistler小镇，随便转转、溜达溜达。

小嘉为短暂的二日旅行，准备了那本大大的折纸书（也是应眯眯逗的要求）、压花机和一些小零食。不过，当旅行开始的时候，眯眯逗并没有如他们两个自己盼望的那样——象平时一样——坐在我们家车上，而是被她妈妈要求坐回自己家的车上，理由是：与爸爸相聚时间很短，尽量和多爸爸在一起。还有就是可以在一岁半的妹妹坐车坐烦了时，逗逗妹妹，和妹妹玩一玩。（不过，在回去的路上，在两个孩子的强烈愿望下，我出头说服了眯眯逗妈妈，眯眯逗还是坐了过来。）

Whistler小镇依然静谧中涌动着热闹，悠闲中孕育着活力。那翠绿、鲜红、明黄的树叶交相辉映，穿插在一间间风格不同的小楼中，别具风味。远处的青山如黛，山顶上戴着小小的雪帽子。

当我们站在弯曲的山道下，观赏山地车爱好者们排着长队、推着自己心爱的山地自行车坐览车上山，然后驾驭着山地车从高处的弯道上飞驰而下时，真是为他们激动。每一次从高处腾起后，往低处落的时候，都禁不住为他们飞越的身影而叫好。连眯眯逗一岁半的小妹妹，也在激动地叫嚷着。而眯眯逗那个厉害的老爸，更是摩拳擦掌地想要跃跃欲试，想找出租山地车的地方一试身手，硬是被逗妈劝了下来。最担心的人就是眯眯逗了，一直担心地小声地问她妈妈，爸爸不是真的要上去吧？他不能上去，千万不能。明天早上，也不能让他上去。——女孩还是更贴心细致。

晚上，由于酒店提供了厨房，备有刀叉锅铲以及盐和胡椒，我们享受了美味、简单却也丰富的晚餐。我们烤了山芋，煮了面条拌上了眯眯逗爸爸做好的鸡蛋甜面酱，烤了香肠和披萨，烫了西兰花，水果有日本小黄瓜、圣女果、提子、手指胡萝卜。大家吃得很舒服。饭后，两个大孩子忙着折纸，折完了拿着折纸就进入了自己想象故事情节，有声有色地玩着，小妹妹巴巴地跟着。大人们坐着聊天。之后，大家一起出去散步。夜晚的Whistler小镇更安静了，只有点点灯光，但是空气却清新得让人心旷神怡。天空中还飘着细雨。

第二天的早餐，仍然是“自力更生、丰衣足食”，我们继续烤山芋、烤面包、煮鸡蛋、煮玉米、煮二米稀粥，水果是橙子、苹果，吃不了的，带着在回来的路上吃。

回来的路上，两个孩子一直在车上自编自演着一个关于“鸟儿不吃蔬菜、只吃薯片”的故事，一个扮鸟儿，一个扮医生。我们在前面听了心里直乐，又不敢笑出来，唯恐打断了他们的思路，扫了他们的兴。在回来途中，观赏完一处景点之后，两个孩子终于在后座睡着了。

晚上，眯眯逗还有钢琴课。而小嘉呢，想去滑冰。当爹妈的，继续全陪。

Fire Potato

In Planet Potato there's a fire high up in the sky. The fire is getting bigger and the Potatoes are getting hotter. Then a Potato with a lots of fire on its butt appeares. "He is not a Potato Hero because he has a lot of fire on its butt!" "I'm Air Potato, the sea turtle did not eat me. He pushed me out of his mouth and threw me high up. I reached a planet called 'Fire'". Later I landed on Planet Potato. And the fire that on my butt was the fire that's on the Planet Fire." "Well, I will give you a new name called 'Fire Potato'".

昨晚临睡前，嘟嘟哝哝地说他的英语还是不好。

我赶紧鼓励：怎么不好啦？这只是你的Second Language，比起去年、比起上学期，已经进步很大了。

比起去年，是进步很大了；可是比起上学期，感觉没什么进步。

为什么感觉没什么进步呀？

你看，我写作文，还是会错那么多。

我哈哈地笑着：当然会错啦，妈妈写作文也错很多；就算是本地人，在你们这个年龄，也会错很多；就算是本地人长大了，很多人写作文，仍然会错很多。怎么能因为有错误，就说明自己没进步呢？

那你怎么知道我有进步呢？

当然啦，你以前写作文，我经常看不明白是什么意思，一句话里几乎每个单词都有拼写错误；现在呢，一句话里最多也就某一个或者最多两个单词拼错，有些句子还全对了呢！大小写呀、标点符号呀、时态呀，都有很多是正确的。

唉！还是与刚来的时候比较，进步大。后面再进步，就感觉不出来了。

我心想，你小人家这不是废话吗？不过，人家有这些想法，至少说明人家还是积极要求进步的嘛。只好弱弱地安慰道：那当然了，才来的时候起点低，进步明显；其实后面也有进步，只是没那么明显了。其实，在妈妈看来，进步还是很大滴。
